House solon sworn in finally 3 months after polls
MANILA, Philippines -- Nearly three months after the elections, An Waray Representative Florencio “Bem” Noel has finally been proclaimed as the newest member of the House of Representatives.
Noel’s entry has brought the number of members in the House to 238.
The House stopped its session momentarily Tuesday to allow the re-elected partylist lawmaker to take his oath at the Speaker’s podium. He was joined by colleagues in the opposition, led by Minority Floor Leader Ronaldo Zamora.

hehe, bem is not a lawyer... damo iya bugto na lawyer though. one of his standing jokes is: "i have 2 brothers & 2 sisters who are lawyers. i am the only aquilan."

am a proud and true UPian... but despite that, i enrolled in Ateneo for the bar review (for reasons apart from the actual bar. haha.).

Apryll, been meaning to ask you this; What does Carpe Luna mean? Like seize the moon? or be lunatic every full moon? hehehe pero seriously ha, ano it meaning hito?
Hehehe, good point. If it's the opposite of Carpe Diem (Seize the Day), I think the more correct literal antonym (Seize the Night) would be Carpe Noctii. :)
i know that the right term for "seize the night" is "carpe noctii."
"carpe luna" is a standing joke between me & my best friend. arlene keeps on telling me that i tend to seize the moon, especially when it's full. haha. :)
